Classical Psychoanalysis: Freud
Sigmund Freud was born in May 1856 in Freiberg small town in what is now Czechoslovakia today, but it belonged at the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He died in 1939 in London, a city which moved due to the advances of Nazism, as he was of Jewish descent.
His years of psychoanalytic experience the place in Vienna, where, however, his theories would not be very well received during the first years of his work, especially among medical circles, despite being the same degree in medicine and specialist Neurology. The legacy of his research does not focus on medicine as such, but they owe their historical recognition to the development of a method for treating the unconscious mental illness: psychoanalysis.
